Sylvia is my extraordinary poet friend
because she is the only one in Poem Hunter
who saw my live performance on stage,
Mohiniattam dancing, years back in Amsterdam.
That makes it an exceptional bond with Sylvia
by my art form.

After having read Dr. Geeta's beautiful poem
Oh what a wonderful bliss for me
I have to admit that this is crystal clear
I've seen you come out of that great atmosphere
my eyes were those of a paintress
and never of the poetess

my family knows it too
that I painted like crazy
Yes! I painted like crazy

then I write as if I am crazy
about your beautiful appearance
in your greatest performance
on the stage of the town of Rembrandt

I have never forgotten that impressive beauty
that elegant slimness
coming on stage
at such a young age
the loveliest words are not suffice to describe that

Wow! Mohiniattam
In the heart of Amsterdam

Dear Dr. Geeta
You were like a pieta
What a beauty in full celebration
Your most beautiful eyes in holy adoration

I was in love with your artistic dedication
Wow! What a fascinating art,
a living articulation of the most beautiful word
you are a true feast to watch at
so much beauty in your outer and inner heart

this tribute to you I solemnly presented
in full admiration and with a cherishing heart
through my painter's eyes
my best and honest vision,
I consider you highly wisest
as a great friend, also my personal friend
through your most magnificent dance in Mohiniattam
in the very heart of Amsterdam
