Sometimes, an angel enters your life,
With the cheer of the morning sunlight,
When birds begin to fly across the blue horizon,
When pink roses glow in the gracious golden light.
That's how Bindu entered my classroom,
A charming, petite young lady,
With the spring of a sprightly school girl,
To learn the style of Mohiniattam.
Though I was Bindu's teacher,
I could never play the role of a strict teacher.
She brought such cheer into the classroom
With her bubbly laughter,
With the melody of cheerful bird songs.
That each day in classroom became
Like days of blessing and grace of God!
Together, we danced with such merriment.
My teaching and her learning,
Like a forest full of tall green trees
Filled with coloured wild flowers.
Movements of exquisite dance,
Moments of pure joy!
Though you live in a different city now,
I recall the days of bonding with you,
With much happiness!
Happy birthday, dearest Bindu!
With lots of love,
Your teacher,
Geeta
First of all, I must tell you that I am very glad to have found this poem back, Dr. Geeta. It had just gone away, I cannot tell you WHERE that was
2) this second part was too long, so gone again, I will trey again to write what I wanted to tell you about this loveliest poem.
First 5 Stars for this Beauty you have created this fascinating poem. I can feel in the poem, how great your love is for her, the love of a Dance Teacher towards the best pupil, I reckon. This brilliant poem goes to my Favourites
3) I love very much how you started the Tribute: Sometimes, an angel enters your life, With the cheer of the morning sunlight, When birds begin to fly across the blue horizon, When pink roses glow in the gracious golden light. WOW!
'She brought.... bubbly laughter, With the melody of cheerful bird songs'. What could be more generous on the part of a teacher to feel God's grace and blessings while describing the presence of her disciple in the class. Thanks, Geeta ji.
Ma'am to be an apple of the eye of a teacher is not so easy. But Bindu won your head. Indeed she deserves this. Its the greatest treasure of a student.
