HAPPINESS AND SORROW

Happiness and sorrow are our co-travellers in life
None can escape from this cycle of happiness and sorrow

Like meeting and separation, happiness and sorrow are part of our lives
Every creature on earth has his share of happiness and sorrow in life

When we look around, people in our lives
We find people enjoying life and bearing sadness

Even in nature we find greenery and vast desert on earth
We find majestic rivers and mighty oceans on earth

The mighty wave's struggle to crossover and return with firm
Resolve to come back give message to humanity never give up

The snow covered royal mountain range like brides
Cool breeze and majestic caravan of cloud up above the sky

Rains brings flood and destruction all around
Scorching heat hot waves in summer all around

We see celebration on victory and mourning on death
The destruction and construction go hand in hand

Lover's Joy of meeting and the pain of separation
on going celebration of birth and on mourning on death

Being creation on earth; cycle of happiness and sorrow unavoidable
Even God has hell and heaven as per scriptures be it Quran or Bible
