Hanratty is an invention. That does not mean that I don't share some of his emotions though his take on things is certainly darker than my own. Many thanks to all for comments and praise. Glad this gave pleasure. Best regards from Bep.

Hanratty is an invention, not autobiographical. That does not mean that some of the emotions expressed are not mine. Many thanks for praise and reactions from readers. Glad this gave you pleasure. - Bep.

Some fine lines in this. The sentiments expressed here reflect much of my own. Well written.

Tragic, poignant, insightful. Could this be autobiographical?

I like the solitary feel, the slight breath of all human lonesome lingering in these words; very good.

OK I'll bite, who is Hanratty himself. Well written poem, perhaps a little enigmatic. Read mine - An Acutely Obtuse Pythagorean Lyric - Adeline
