Nicely articulated. The poem seeks to explore the correlation of man with this infinite universe that surrounds us and the philosophy that binds us together. Thanks, Dear Poet. The depth and the exceptional beauty of the poem thrills the reader. To feel the cadence of the universe To feel the existence of life.... From birth to grave Have you felt your essence.... In the speck of dust of this soil?

Very beautifully penned, Sankar. A very existential one which goes down deep to the meaning of what it is to be human. Any human being is not even able to make dust or soil you are asking. Your question therefore goes back to the Source of Life which gives meaning to human life.

Have you felt your essence In the speck of dust of this soil? Have you ever seen your face through the mirror of this soil? How has it reflected your image on the vastness of eternity? liked these lines very much in your poem. it is philosophic, imaginative, inspiring and thought provoking poem. thank you. tony

We all belong to the Earth. We come from the earth and to the earth we return. Achievements soon forgotten. Only builders leave something behind and poets. Good poem.

It's a nice poem. I agree with you. It's always best to be close to earth for that' where we spring from, that's where we play, that's where we grow and develop, that's where we draw our sustenance from, and that's where we end up and return all we took from it. You may want to soar the sky, but the law of gravity will always pull you back to earth. There's no way you can get away from it. You don't even have to ask for a handful of soil. It is there for anyone and everyone to pick up.

I always say that one sure way to ground yourself, remember your humble roots and regain your proper footing, is to grasp a handful of soil. Your poem has a depth to.it that takes us to a greater awareness and understanding of what we seek. Beautiful. Thanks for steering me in it's direction...PEACE
