Hamilton Square. Poem by Tom Allport

Hamilton Square.

The sound of bells chiming
The hours of the day
The smell of fresh cut grass
With fragrant flowers now in decay
Look.. there smack in the middle
A monument of Victoria's wedding cake
This is Birkenheads Hamilton Square
A most wonderful place to partake.
