Hallways Poem by Peter S. Quinn

Hallways

We were there
in the hallways,
lights everywhere
and shadows of grey.

Love and you
everywhere around,
affections true
inside found...

Looking for you
in every direction,
where you have gone too
into time's selection.

What to believe
what this life's for,
when I'm in grief
and not self-assured.

Hallways hallways
filled with shadows,
moods of many plays
in the flickering glows.

Nothing is for real
it's just unreality,
shadows as you feel
in their infinity.
