Halloween Night Unveiled Poem by April Humason

Halloween Night Unveiled

Halloween arrives, quelling spirits' peace,
As Hell ascends, dark horrors released.
Witchery's spells and corpses' scent,
An eerie atmosphere, we must relent.

Vampires thirst for crimson blood,
Goblins lurk in shadows' flood.
Angels rebel, monstrous guise,
The dead awaken, no disguise.

On this day, identities we trade,
Lured by devil's tempting serenade.
Costumes excel, fashion's delight,
A spectacle that captivates the night.

Farewell to selves of old we say,
As trickery we employ this day.
Raveling in mischief, a mischievous art,
We revel in this sinister part.

Lucifer beckons, we heed his call,
To mask ourselves, one and all.
Retelling tales of Halloween's cheer,
A night of terror, both far and near.

As we trick-or-treat with a shout,
Halloween night, there's no doubt,
A time for fun and eerie glee,
A celebration for all to see.
