Halloween King Poem by Justin Gildow

Halloween King

The Halloween King is sat upon his throne
He smiles at me
And greets me at welcome
Welcoming me into his home

He has no problem showing me his many gifts
His many possessions
His many possessions to do with this particular holiday

He tells me that he's been collecting for many years
He's been collecting for a good long while
Showing me this thing and that thing
From stuffed bats to skull rings
I can tell he wants to impress me
He wants to make me smile

From his many treasures
I can tell he takes great pleasure
Great pleasure in his collection
