This captures the sweet suffering of love lost and a broken heart. I love how you have used the analogy of unfinished, interrupted paintings with unfinished, interrupted love!
Truly heart-rending poem, Amitava. I feel the bewilderment in the voice of your poem, wanting to know where your wife had gone, and why she left the painting, half done.
