Haiti has had courageous soldiers and great Heroes,
Who've snatched their independence from the white settlers.
Haiti has had coward arthropods and fat zeros,
And well known thieves, deputies, senators and presidents,
Who've stained and trampled on the name of this great country,
The precious piece of land that our brave ancestors have left us.
Haiti, Haiti is the little country, the giant of freedom,
The ogive of incredible myths and unfulfilled dreams.
Haiti has lived poorly under the aegis of many vile freeloaders,
Greedy and hostile leeches and the thugs who're never satiated.
Haiti still resists in the hell of stateless bums. The foreigners
Have come to loot, steal and extract the sap of happiness.
Haiti is a lost haven that is surrounded by traitors and spies,
A mountainous land with a rich, fertile, and troubled history.
Haiti is a land that they try to divide and distribute as pawns;
It is a country that cannot be annihilated in a matter of seconds.
Haiti has had big-assed fools as leaders, mafia bosses or presidents,
Who've sold the organs of their sons and daughters almost for free.
Haiti, Haiti, will you ever see the once glorious paradise era?
Haiti, which bathes in the Caribbean Sea, is an oasis, a land of fire,
With illustrious Heroes such as Toussaint, Dessalines, Capois, Pétion,
Christophe and other braves who've shined with zeal, bravery and passion.
In the midst of crises and disasters, the young people of Haiti are still dreaming,
Since the blood of the Elders still waters and energizes their hearts and their pores.
