Hail O Holy King Poem by A A Isaactamson

Hail O Holy King

Hail O holy king
That called me to this glorious living
The water that rain in my desert
And the sun that melt miseries into overflowing joy

Blessed are you
In your flaming mercies
Who reward my evil with good
Favour my darkness with light
And endow upon the unworthy me your spirit

How glorious you are
O Lord upon your holy throne
When I sacrificed my sanity
And sold out my dignity
Thou did not abandon me to agony

You reach out to me
Even though I stabbed you severally
And flee from you countlessly
You still treat me with compassion
And bestow on me the cup of your salvation

For it is only by your grace
That I'm able to drink from the chalice of redemption
And by your forgiveness I'm heal from iniquity
Your justification O Lord
Remain my only hope

Speak to me Abba Father
And let your words fortify me
Let your touch consecrate my soul to your glory
And may your presence illuminate me

O Lord hear me, in this our blessed union
For your restoration have loved me to conception
And now I pray thee
That I may not delay
In birthing your glory

For you are the Father
And to you my everything belong
Here me O Lord before listening to the saints in heaven
Answer my prayers before receiving the praises of the angels
For they, O Rock of ages
Are already highly safe and secure in your righteous

Do not let my words O Lord
To suffer the calamity of barrenness
Nor should my cry travel through deaf ears
But let the prayers of the saints and angels be the wings of my plea

let my living be thy tree O Lord
That it may blossom in righteousness
And prosper in your holiness
Bearing fruits of praises bountifully
with the smiling petals of joy

And never forget O Lord
To be generous to me;
Continue to clothe me with your grace
For you're forever my only bliss
