This poem takes the reader back in time. I remember reading classics from Victorian era and I was intrigued by the atmosphere...the coaches, the carriages, the street lamps n all that. You have put the theme of existence in beautiful imagery. A coach ride as a metaphor for life is a great idea. Let the jostling ride bounce you awake....of course life is not always a smooth journey but the jerks should wake us to reality n we must learn from them rather than regret. Enjoyed reading it very much.
