Yes, time stretches and contracts as well, the most flexible, that science calls relative, a lovely haiku that highlights these facts.

This is our thinking that sometimes makes time a sprinting steed and sometimes a brooding sage. But again it's time that changes our thinking! Valsa you have selected a very interesting topic A lovely philosophic write.

Wonderful contrasts - I certainly prefer those moments time is brooding to the charging horse. The horse is too close to Marvell's dismaying metaphor - AND AT MY BACK I ALWAYS HEAR TIME'S WINGED CHARIOT HURRYING NEAR. But we better give that sage some comic literature so he is not always brooding. I have an extra copy of Sterne's TRISTRAM SHANDY which is guaranteed to make the sage smile.
