Petals
soft petals unfurl,
dewdrops like tiny jewels,
sun paints them with gold.
Dews
morning mist descends,
diamonds on each blade of grass,
a silent, cool kiss.
Tears
salt stings on my cheeks,
a silent, bitter goodbye,
the heart aches and breaks.
Hairs
whispers in the wind,
each hair a silken thread spun,
a story untold.
I loved them all, dear Asim ji. Petals and dews being my favourites. Lovely little poems. To my favourite + 10
