Haiku On A Woman's Age

Age shows against the harsh light
See her true beauty
Without the duplicity.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
A truly beautiful woman does not hide behind makeup and is not disadvantaged by being photographed in harsh light. Beauty is not skin-deep and shows best in unguarded moments when her elegance and gentleness shine through. Like a leaf that shows its veins, a woman with a strong character looks better than a woman with porcelain fake complexion.
