Haiku Ii Poem by William Waterway

Haiku Ii

writer's small cabin
bedroom with books lining walls
near window birds bathe

* * *

beavers teeth gnaw trees
captured water creates pond
mud and limbs a home

* * *

in ancient dark place
tall trees surround sacred spring
bear awakes sleeper
