Yes, rosary beads would be good to take to heaven. I pray the rosary most days, even though it can seem mechanical and repetitive at times. Many of my prayers for Mary's intercession have not been answered, but a few have. A stunning religious haiku, I find.

We believe that by counting the rosary mechanically, all our pleas to grant our desires will be lifted to Heaven directly! It is a foolish thought....! We have to pray to have the grace to accept all God allows us in our life without complaint and to have His will! Also our prayer should be one of thankfulness for all that we have received from Him. Know God is not to satisfy all our earthly desires! I hope this is what you really meant! Powerful haiku!

This is essentially an analytical study revealing the picture of hypocrisy related to specious religious practices painted by the words of this small poem. You have nicely brought to fore the reality. We must have faith and gratitude and not only desires in our hearts while offering our prayers to God. THank you so much, Valsa Mdm.

Thank you, Edward. Our prayers are alright but it is not easy to get rid of our desires till the very end. If allowed, we might carry a load full of desires to the other world.

Superb......And often we see someone with these beads counting something, watching something else and listening to something....Yet desire remains......10+++

You have made an objective assessment of what we generally do in the garb of a prayer. Thanks a lot, Asim ji.
