Haiku 3 - Enlightenment
A dip in the Ganges
A sleep under the Banyan
Can't enlighten you
It can if one keeps in mind the connection that exists between a river and a tree and us and that Supreme spirit that pervades and energizes this unique creation. Liked the haiku just don’t agree with thought.
Quite right! Such external obsevances won't make a person pure. What is needed is an inner change! Meaningful Haiku!

The poem reminds that we should change ourselves then only spiritual enlightenment can be obtained.

This is a great philosophical poem. If one has no devotion and faith on God, no deep in the Ganges or sleep under Banyan enlightens one. Thank you for sharing.
