Haddi In The Kebaab

HADDI IN THE KEBAAB
~
Poke a beehive, have a taste of bee-wrath.
one wonders: ' Have I entered a scalding hot oil bath? '
one, can't blame the bees for the, vicious attack.
It is merely, some etiquettes, that one lacks.
~
In the wild with the lion, and the.tiger
What a majestic situation, I will lay a wager!
Their mere sighting, sends shivers down the spine;
In a jiffy, they, can rip apart and sit down to dine.
~
law of the jungle is unambiguous.
a predator if one, is, strong.and tenacious.
Or else one is prey, and is eaten,
because, in survival race, one is beaten.
~
Fine equilibrium between, habitat, prey, predator.
Plenteous years, plenteous vegetation and fresh water.
Prosperous, joyous, vivacious animals, all round.
If one is, a passer-by, one is left spell-bound.
~
Sad to say, there are years of acute famine.
No water, no vegetation, nothing that is fine.
Prey, predator populations on a steep decline
Mass obituaries are, written in a.mere.line
~
In this nature's opera, what.role man has grabbed?
Is the evil genius, the.haddi in the.kebaab,
ordained to kill animals with bullets and barbs?
It is a.misnomer to call him a Janaab.
~
Depriving animals of - water, vegetation, land,
driving them to suicidal conflicts with man.
As major species head towards extinction,
the shame enveloping.man, is no fiction.
~
His 'too clever by half ' approach
involves, to poach and, to encroach,
the animals and their habitat
ignoring, experts unanimous diktat.
~
Man is a compulsive perfidious liar.
No crocodile ever sheds insincere tears.
The cliché - ' he is behaving like.a wild animal ',
is, an insult- not to the man- but the animal.
~
While the animals are doomed
to ignominious extinction, very soon;
human species will reconcile to, the noose.
To save the world, sad to say, man is not tuned.
