There's a sense of nostalgia in this poem that I can relate to very well. The days go by, leaving memories behind. Regret often takes place of dreams in later age. You have beautifully summed up life in this very well-worded write.
Wonderful to read your thoughts Nosheen. Yes the days go by and the people that I know are fantastic but too often a certain dull inevitability of life sets in. A certain routine or surrender with age. Mentally more than physically and something in the spirit is lost. I acknowledge this but personally I reject it and truly believe that we have the power to remain as fresh and vital as we choose.
