Gut-Feelings Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

Gut-Feelings

Who's that the first ever man
Who thinks, acts and reacts
Like those gallant heroes
Of the freedom fight.

Hitting all right notes-
Just, by ruling the hearts
Like the one never before
Except a few, certainly did try.

Turning up the heat-
With a pregnant pause
A fibre that binds the masses
A figure of speech, for lost-times
Entering humanity into a new era.

A sweet rose-
For everyday's prayer
Can't live to see the results.

No sense-
In nonsensical dramas
By political opponents.
Adventures-
On shaky grounds
Lacking in responsibility
Political will and wisdom.

A chaos, madness and fun-
Fussing for numbers over quality
Coming down to the name game.

Let's wait and watch-
Going by own gut-feelings.
