Hi, Geeta! I’m taking time to visit PH friends, and this is the poem I’m starting with. It was true of me I had to leave my preconceived notions. My prejudices were upended at the start, but over time the good things taught me and modeled by my parents were reincorporated into my understanding. -Glen

" Leave your mental baggage, Along with your slippers, Outside the class, before you enter in." ... Again the same what I said for 'The Tree'. Is human mind help or hindrance? I think it is both. It depends, how you choose to use it.

This is a wonderful series Geeta. I have spend a considerable time reading our ancient scripture and still do and must add that I havn't made a dent to that vast treasure. But I feel blessed and proud to belong to our cultue and religion. Thanks for sharing.

You have to shed all your fixed habits, defects And be a complete zero without an ego.... //....Our sages had the purest of hearts and souls and were a repository of deep spiritual knowledge. They lived a life of austerity. Likewise, the aspirant or the student were fit to learn when they were free from any preconceived notions and ideas (mental baggage) . India has a long history of remarkable Gurus and their equally notable disciples. Thanks, Geeta ji, for this great series.

Part - 2 can acquire eternal Truth only when he puts off his mental baggage. The ancient sages were the treasure houses of knowledge and were good teachers who were imparting spiritual knowledge.Their Law of living a righteous life' ‘Vasudaiva Kutumbakam' - The entire human race to live together with love and peace like a big family is most valuable value for human race. A beautiful poem is hauntingly presented. Thanks for sharing.
