Nice tribute for swami Vivekananda mam, enjoyed reading.10p
It may not be out of place to quote a few related ideas of Swami Vivekananda in this context: " He (the Guru) is the channel through which the spiritual current flows to us, the link which joins us to the whole spiritual world.... all Gurus are fragments and radiations of God, the Universal Guru" .
Thoughts of Swami Vivekananda about a Guru have been explained quite beautifully through this poem. I would like to quote a few lines from the poem which speak volumes about who should be a Guru. Thanks, Geeta ji: A real teacher must not merely be knowledgeable, But must know the spirit of the Scriptures, A Guru must be selfless, sinless and pure.
Only then, the light of wisdom grows brightly: around your writing a spiritual power emanates- you are training all those who read you into spiritual consciousness of a greater level; thank you!
For intellectual development of intellectual power this is necessary to revive the beauty of inner life and love. Swami Vivekananda has rightly narrated the truth in his wok. From Guru, soul receives the impulse and this is beautifully felt well. An interesting poem is well penned. This is a great ode poem of curse....10
Beautiful poem. These Gurus are rare and true disciples are even more rare. Vivekanand and his Guru were one such pair.
