Guess What! Comments

Clarence is yet another PH poet who has disappeared from my view. But, despite PH's shortcomings, since a year ago, PH continues to provide free access to such works. Bravo. bri ;)

A nice poem that describes the situations when a poet wants to write something but he is not focussed on what to write about. The third stanza was particularly good.

A poet's restless heart, his gloom and frustration when he is finding no poetic inspiration to write a poem has been expressed so wonderfully in this poem.Many of us find in this situation.Your poem speaks for me too.Thanks for sharing.

It maybe a poem or it may be a story............or a story in a poem? i'd use may be in both places. :) favorite lines: For guess what, it's a poem Appears out of the gloom, Here it is ready to bloom Guess what! it was fun! ...................congratulations on writing another nice one. and for having fun...........................................................doing it, AND another for MyPoemList. i ESPECIALLY enjoyed this one. but................no mention of God! ! ! ? well, maybe He was hiding somewhere in the poem and i did not notice. bri :)

I read it with a smile. There are times I sit down to write and have absolutely no idea what to write about- - -that is when I page through my past starts and ramble through them looking for a spark but sometimes I'm still left in the dark and sometimes my Guess What doesn't happen whereupon I go call one of my daughters.
