Growing Up Poem by Kevin Cui

Growing Up

Rating: 5.0

In the past, all I knew was to dream
Now all that matters, is to make money
Sometimes, I'll dream of my childhood to let off some steam
Maybe, of my dear old mummy or a bunny
But now a days, my dreams are always so damn bloody
Now how can my dreams change?
I want to dream of something sunny
And I know my dreams cant be arranged

I really don't want my dreams to be this extreme
I want to have a good time, maybe something funny
Maybe let them change themes
I know I might be a little chubby
But please let me be a little lucky
I know I won't change anything with my complains
But I do want a good time, something funny
Lets beg for a change, campaigns

So put your hand in mine, and wish for something lucky
I know this is a little strange
Why can't we adopt a puppy?
And reverse the clock, to rearrange our age.
