Nanny Mo, Nanny Mo,
Get on your bike and go, go, go!
There are those who think it odd
That you have joined a BMX squad.
But you can show them how it's done,
And, just like the kids, you have such fun;
Age, as a barrier, you have crossed,
And, in your new hobby, you're completely lost.
You may be 70, but you have proved
That, just like the others, you have the moves;
You are determined; you don't hold back,
And, of daring stunts, there is no lack.
As a fellow rider, you've been accepted:
You're now part of the BMX biker collective;
You are an equal: you're part of the team,
And, here you are, fulfilling your dream.
There are no signs of you slowing down,
As, on your bike, you hare around;
You've got the bike; you've got the gear,
And, upon your face, there's no hint of fear.
You are a gran with some get up and go;
You're well on the way to becoming a pro;
Your heart and your soul are so full of fire:
You are one feisty lady who should be admired.
