With the joy of love in all its guises comes grief! ! It comes in waves-tlike the ebb and flow of the tide.It subsides only to reemerge in future times of sorrow. Your poem hits the mark-something must have shaken you to the core.

Great job! What is physical pain as compared to mental anguish? they do not compare.... you have described that so well.

Tan, Very well said of intense grief. I have felt that way at times, especially when someone died unexpectedly. Those times were when any spirituality I had went out the window, temporarily, while I tried to understand my loss. I hope you continue to write. Sincerely, Connie Webb
