Grief Poem by HB Rita

Grief

Everyday,
I used to return home with your affection
Today I just came back with lamentation
No idea how you are taking it
You might think, I am upset
Not at all, not at all
You know,
I swallowed the emotion long ago
Addition and subtractions are no longer
counted by the wrong equation
Now walk barefoot
It doesn't hurt.
In ancient times they also walked
Still walk
I don't know if it's lacking or not
Why do we have to know everything?
Has science yet discovered the mystery of
human creation?
