Ah, another frustrated technophile. Are we not all inclined to protest at some time. Yet life must go on and so we do. Try mine – On the Horns of the Moon – Adeline
Not sure how this poem relates to a technophile because technophilia is not the theme? Must have been a quick couple of lines skim, because a technophile is 'One who has a love of or enthusiasm for technology, especially computers and high technology: '. The poem is also not about technophobia, although I wrote the split image poems 'Up-Skilling' and 'Up-Skilling Phobia' around the theme of technophobia back in February 1998 on the 25.2.98. No the obvious themes are freedom of speech, freedom of artists, freedom of information and human rights; reading within these contexts generates interesting reflections upon artistic individuality and mass media concepts of liberty within suppressive governments which remove liberty with the justification of home land security for example.
