Hello Sidi, you visited my poems a while back and I wanted to come by and visit yours. You have a great imagination in this piece. Loyd
after stumbling across your poem about the old grey mule, i had to look to see if you were still on PH. well, you seem to be! and i found another nice poem. sometimes i comment on/point to poets what i think are unintentional 'errors' in their english. most poets don't seem to mind. i will only say to you that i feel there are errors, though 'minor', in the five following lines: Yellow cat as cat's do .........Or watch how Nature adjust............Was as only cats can, Slept on......Outdoors beaconed.........The “cat's door” carefully placed ======================= i especially enjoyed this: Like a drop of molasses (Syrup of the Southern kind) The drip which was Yellow cat Shifted its weight. ================= i once saw a video of a fawn coming into a house through one of those doors, and twice [in my younger days] when i was a deliveryman, i squeezed through milk bottle delivery holes in sides of garages when no one was home to let me into the garage; i was delivering cabinets etc., BUT an 80 pound dog! ! ! ! long and lean? ? thanks for sharing. bri :)
