Green Light Poem by Raimi Babatunde

Green Light

Forget feminism
If you like the package
Give him green, yellow, white or black light
"All na light"
Who made that rule
That woman can't approach
I think it's hate speech

You have a crush on him
You want him to call first
I don't get!
Maybe you should approach a traffic light
Then French kiss him passionately
When the light turns green
Then he will understand

Laugh at his jokes
Even if they are dry
Ask him "How was service today? "
Ask ask you could borrow his note
You could buy him a drink
It doesn't make you flirtatious "jare"
Become a monitoring spirit
View his WhatsApp status daily
Be the first to like his Facebook posts
"This year, you must marry"
Take it by force "Sistos"

I admit most hardware are blind
Even when Eve shakes arsenal and twerks
"Na Grammar dem go dem blow"
"Have you eaten? . What's up"
"Those one na Sule"
Smile sheepishly at him
Give them the left eye principle
Wink it like Kim Khardarshian
"Leave feminism for one side"
Take your possession by force
Don't say I didn't advise you

Some say they detest men
Maybe they were genitally mutilated
"Their urge don die"
A result of their chopped off erotic zone
"Abeg, stop female circumcision"
That clit is intended for pleasure
If you like dance zanku"
No matter how you "gbe body"
Cumming together is heaven on earth
That feeling when she moans
So soothingly ecstatic
Don't ask me how I knew
I am just a Poet

But Guys be advised
While smiling at you can be yellow light
Scratching her head might be red
Maybe there is fire on her head
If you approach then, "Na misfire oh"
If you see the light
Just say the magic words
"Hello my name is Diego"
"I was hoping you will be my Palorma"
"My name is Romeo, will you be my Juliet"
"Were you born on a Sunday"
"Heaven must be missing an Angel"
"Bros, na from clap dem dey enter dance"

Don't give green light
And still be forming "Stop it, I like it"
We hate nonsense!
That's how you missed Dangote's son
Don't also be quick to ask for 69
Many have gone that way
Cancer of throat is spreading fast
Guys, you have been advised
Ladies, how clean is his boxers?
Be sure and proceed with caution

But for big girls
They play in the big leagues
They just push him to the wall
And kiss the hell out of him
Guys, don't be a Sissy
When you see the light
Don't pass over
Step up and be the man
Every green light doesn't mean sex
It could just be "I like you"

To you my Guys, hustle hard
No girl will leave six cars for six packs
Money makes a man beautiful
To be a viable romantic partner
You need to keep your game tight
When she agrees you worship
In her sacred altar
Then turns to say "No"
Run for your life
It has become rape
Sex is sweet consensually
So, enjoy the ride!
