Not only an affective title, but a very direct cry from the heart. I think there comes a time when a child (of any age) has to say goodbye to the parent (which they may only have had as an ideal anyway) and realize that now they are the (perhaps soon to be) parent of the parent... pretty moving poem Valerie, especially those lines 'You make me so significant, Like the ruler of nothing at all....'
