it makes one wonder, why do we humans, who are well aware that we all hv to meet the same fate, later or sooner -harbour ill feelings, jealousy and the likes against humanity itself -it is a pity that we fear the only certain aspect of life-that is death. i admire how lucidly you hv put across yr message to the world-alas! if only people can actually read thru it! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
I enjoyed reading this. It moves right along. I found this humorous or an ironic contrast to the world in which we presently live: (Safe and snug in good neighborhood/ Of vultures, serpents and scorpions? Having well escaped from vile human jungle.) I liked the repetitive format of comparisons in the first two stanzas and also the rhyming combinations: hated and lamented, dissent, remnant, and money, vanity, canopy, & amity. This was a pleasing string of l words: They loved, hated, laughed and lamented. Your poem provides a casual opportunity to review our lives while we are still here.
Dear Sathyam. May I take liberty to add to your profound and terminally, memorial insight? Interred are fragmented remnants of all mortal, bequeathing more then many had evilly murdered. Countless victims to have un-discriminate Earth Graveyard as it hath so created, The mentoring of evil doctrine upon all sponged brained youth must be thwarted and their roboted deciples disparaged Unless, Empathy and Compassion become the academic theme of all human behavior, youth need to be considered to be also birthed for love, toil and the sharing with their brethren in need. Man, whom are beholden of Love have been doctrined to be self destructive of all that is Omnipotent and Descent Inspiring, well expressed, , Thanks for sharing ...louie
Yes, none on earth can avoid! If we realise and act, the world will be more enjoyable! People are bound to be more noble and lovable! A great write! Thanks.

Of vultures, serpents and scorpions Having well escaped from vile human jungle. This is the grand graveyard Sathya this is magnificent
This is indeed one of your best poems, Sathya, if not your very best. It is vividly descriptive and expressive, as well as deeply philosophical. Your phrasing throughout this outstanding free verse poem is very impressive and it is clear to any reader that you are a person of great compassion. Carl.
So real imagery, so touchy, very nicely composed. I am impressed and add my 10.
very impressive expression dear! verily, we all return unto Him with all reckon +++10
Death is truely every mans best friend. Only we all have to walk the paths that were laid for us until we find our spiritual soul. Beautiful verse. Give you 10! best wishes Suzan Gumush
very nice Satya-really thought provoking and reminds me of a biblical saying 'Thou art dust and unto dust thou shall return'. all this ego and vanity that we show on earth while alive will be burried in the graveyard of history. +10 as always regards anjali
Lovely poem.True that we are all equal in grave. Here we find true peace.A 10.
Very well wriitem. It's the only place we can see real socialism. We are all one here, We are all equal in the grave yard. A very talented poet.
Liked the poem. Grave yard is the only place where we see real socialism. We are all one there.Good poem Good thinking! ! Dear sathya narayana.
Wow, the ultimate question abounds within this one, Mr. Narayana! I love the structure of this poem, good sir: the layers of meaning rolling off like the layers of an onion. Taking stock in what our purpose proves to be on this Earth has never sounded this eloquent to me. Compelling, deep and unjudgemental. Great work of art, Sathya! Thanks for the potent share! Warm regards, John.
