Grateful Poem by Varghese J Kuttikat

Grateful

I do salute my ancestors and the powers benign
That set me firm and serene on a designed plane
When tempests raged all around and beasts danced damned
I find reason ; valid signs to believe in hope militant
Because those who join me on the line are mightily blest
I do believe the present maligned state would vanish indeed
The World would bloom forth in glory real radiant
And Man would greet the World with light in his eyes
Milk and honey would be everybody's very own
Hate and beastliness would be buried for ever and ever
The miracle happens; Man finds himself in the company of brethren
