Grandparents have a close knit relationship with their grandchildren and this has been brought out beautifully in the poem. Sometimes grandchildren feel easier to disclose their inner secrets to their grandparent rather than their parents.

Our grandparents, though many of them were simple, illiterate folks were beacons of knowledge and foresight! In times old there were such sage like people to direct and guide the progeny. Their humanitarian values and universal outlook still continue to inspire us. Unfortunately the present generation has no such light houses to navigate them in the sea of life!
