Rating: 5.0

With outstretched wings
You're the eagle
Touching heaven
Wakening Bukowski
To watch you in grand flight

Just amazing Richard! An awesome dedication. And here's in honour of Buk- Here's to crashing! I paraphrase, but do seem to recall him once saying that trials and defeats pave the road to great art! And I think Buk and Confucius were cousins- -having and sharing the aphorism in common.....

I'm very happy that you like the dedication, M.J. Thank you for sharing what Buk had said. I can't think of any poet, or any other artist, that that doesn't apply to. And maybe Buk and Confucius were cousins.
