Grace Paved The Way

Grace paved the way for me
Along my pathway of sin
It brought me to a true conviction
And I became born again
The Word of God was packed with truth
How little of it I knew
But when I acknowledged my need of Christ
It was grace that brought me through

When I was saved by grace through faith
The Spirit came for a visitation
Now He lives in my heart forever
So thankful am I for Salvation
It's not just an eat, drink, and be merry life
That's not what life is allabout
But when you've experienced forgiveness for sin
Brother you can't help but to shout

Now I'm on my way to Heaven
To a land that is fairer than day
And Jesus Christ is my hope everlasting
For praise God Christ is the Way
How I long to meet my blessed Saviour
And thank Him one day face to face
For the wonderful love He afforded to me
To this sinner saved by grace!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
