Gotta Find A Woman Poem by Pleasant Dabbs

Gotta Find A Woman

Gotta find a woman
One to take jogging
If she's not an athlete
Then maybe she can sing
If she's not a singer
I hope she likes to dance
If she's not a dancer
Then she don't stand a chance with me

I gotta find my baby
One to feed my cat
If she don't like felines
Then maybe she can chat
If she's not a talker
Then she'll fix me a meal
If she's not a cooker
I'll have her cookin' real, real soon

I need a true companion
One who listens well
If she's not a listener
Then one who can compel
If she's not motivating
I hope she likes to read
If she's not a reader
She sure ain't the kind of woman I need

If she ain't so perfect
Well, neither yet am I
Just send me someone purty
Someone who don't play dirty
A girl who's not too flirty
A little love and I'm sure that we'll get by
