Goodbye, My Cyclops Poem by Loidz Mythought

Goodbye, My Cyclops

My sister called me today,
Her voice trembling, heavy with grief.
A weight settled deep in my chest,
Yet it was my heart that truly choked.
Her words echoed, sharp and raw,
A sudden storm I couldn't escape.
My thoughts froze, time stood still—
The news shattered all I knew.
I wish this were just a dream,
That I'd come home and find you there—
Cyclops running, tail wagging wild,
Licking my feet like a long-lost friend.
You loved to play with Mayang,
Even when she turned away.
When she tired, you'd find Kalag,
Tugging your Pooh toy, lost in play.
You ate with joy, no bowl your own,
Stealing bites with playful glee.
Mayang would wait, watching still,
Patiently searching for another meal.
I will miss you, my love,
My dear Cyclops, my endless light.
You and your sister made home feel warm,
Two little souls, so full of life.
I will miss you, my love,
My ever-hyper, joyful friend.
I wish I had been there, held you close,
Before darkness took you in the end.
Goodbye, my love, my little star,
Forever in my heart you are.
