Good People Without Money Poem by Job Ombati

Good People Without Money

George is a jolly fellow.
Laughs heartily,
Speaks queen's English, through the nose.
Says he owns acres of pure sugar.
Owns two flats in town
And a condominium in downtown Miami,
But lives in Kondele!

Sussy is but a good girl.
Generous to core.
Shares all;
Shares her day and night.
Shares it with thin and bald customers.
She smiles cheerfully.
But men speak of her slightingly.

Jose is a nice little fellow.
Drives a V8.
Loves to drive in heavy traffic.
Then he can roll down the heavily tinted window,
And catch an admiring eye.
He coyly winks,
And rolls up the glass.
He loves the residue giggles of surprised women!

Mogaka is a pleasant fellow.
He drives his matatu adroitly.
He smiles at his women passengers,
And they love him!
He owns this matatu and many - so he claims!

Philipo is a sensible boy.
Fought for by all girls.
He carries contraband candies to school.
And his mother drops him in school in an old Maruti.
