Good For Tomorrow Poem by Richard Wlodarski

Good For Tomorrow

I wake smiling
Before eating
My back bacon
So damn cookin'
When I'm rockin'

I eat with relish
Savouring each bite
Morsels watering
My starving parched mouth

Food in my stomach
Words on the blank page
Poetry in soul
Good for tomorrow
