Good Bye Motherland Poem by Tess Rockenstire

Good Bye Motherland

Good bye motherland, until we meet again.
Good bye mother and father
Good bye brother, sisters and friends.

I must sit sail to a foreign land
I have to find a new beginning.
Pray that my departure is not for sorrow.
Don’t cry heart made of clay –

Where I’m going is for better tomorrow.
Sits sail brave soul seafarer –
Conquer fear, push forward toward better existence.
Anchor your heart and mind excellently.

Fear not! Think what is ahead –
Embark with great wisdom and power.
Defeat the odds –
Life ahead will carry you thru – the eyes – of determination.
And one day I'll be richer than Bill Gates.
