The poem expresses a longing for solitude, rejecting the trappings of the "proud world" in favor of a sacred spot that is free from human interference. In this serene refuge, the speaker finds solace and laughs at the pride of man and the learned institutions.

This poem reflects the speaker's decision to leave the world of societal expectations and retreat to a secluded, natural haven where they can commune with nature and God.

THE LAST PART of my Response: It is a celebration of the speaker's return to nature and his hearth-stone, where he can be alone with his thoughts and commune with God. The poem is a reminder that true happiness and contentment can only be found within oneself and not in the external world
