Gone In A Flash Poem by Dorsey Baker

Gone In A Flash

Rating: 5.0

The big black
cat jumps high
his eyes
they swim in fire
he makes his move
when his small room
turns into a very
big house
his lonely road
into a busy avenue
he carries
a concealed weapon
a big tooth
digs into
a large
slab of meat
like a lightning
bolt
that strikes from the sky
comes close enough
to make the
deadly contact!
then he
is gone in a flash!
