Sometimes I wonder if the pain will stop
If my heart will stop breaking
I know he's gone now
But He never really left me at all
He tortures my heart and hurts my mind
The longing for the person you love
Now he is gone
And I cannot help but remember
there were so many things we did
all the times we just smiled at each other
I can't keep waking up alone
My dreams are haunted by a person who never died
But a person can vanish without saying goodbye
He was so kind and warm
Now I'm cold and alone
I wonder if it'll stop hurting
Wondering if I'll stop dreaming of him
He was the best of them all
I still hear his voice
still see his smile
I wonder if I'll ever forget
Cause He was my everything
Cause he was the one who knew me
Now he's gone
My heart stands alone it still beats
but it is a heartless drum
Beating listlessly
if only to go on
He was the sun in my darkness
The gold of my mine
He was the spirit of the wind
And he was all mine
But now he is gone
to my desolation
I can only see him in my dreams
for he was the man of my dreams
I shall miss him forever more
For he had a heart of gold
and a smile like a rainbow
And I will dream of the times that
we stood together in a time that
was not a dream
But in flesh and bone
He made me a promise on the last day
He said that he would see me again someday.
