The poem brings the tragedy of a lovely relationship terminated by death. Very poignant tale. How I miss you Be at peace wherever you may have gone Just please remember me
This poem is deeply affecting. Its theme is so universal, that is, there is always unfinished business with a relative who has passed but the time has run out. It's sad but true and we can only console each other for the loss. You are mourning your loss but also extending to us readers the consolation of sharing your experience. The intimacy of your speech to your late father is so positive. I have no doubt he will fulfill that request you make in the last line, and you have fulfilled your duty to remember him in writing this poem.
I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your soulful comment
