Golden Threads Poem by Helen Crutchett

Golden Threads

Your romantic letters
are golden threads delicately woven
into Ero's sweet orchard fruits,
blooming with heady flavour
and tastefulness

the moon conjures a thousand sighs
bringing paradise closer
my tears spill onto the page and
blur all reason

I sense a thousand harps in unison
embracing the words penned with truth
flowing from your heart to mine.
