Golden Dreams Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

Golden Dreams

Rating: 5.0

Silent tears upon my pillow,
To fall into a dreamlike state,
Walking through the golden meadows,
There you sit upon the gate.

Smiling, waiting, in the sunshine
Flowers grow around your feet,
Your pleasant smile, beams like rainbows
This is our place, our chance to meet.

Don't fade away my precious memory,
For dreams are all i have to hold,
Please don't go, don't ever leave me,
This dream i dream is pure gold.
