Gold Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

Gold

All that glitters
May or may not be gold
Going
By the latest attires
In public appearances
The gold still glitters.

It seems
Everything around
Hasb'n taken to
The golden hue
With much enthusiasm
Always a tricky design
Becoming careful of
Making a faux pas.

Dazzling modern cult
Spreading golden hues
Knot for now
Taking a plunge into
Making up the mind
Conduct speaks up
About resonance within...

Believing
Whole purpose of art
To discover oneself
As an essence of reality
Coming out of the body
To reach out
Its targeted ends.
